Glorious day in central PA!  Up early and went directly to Christ's Lutheran Church to get things rolling for our big Youth Servant Event with Shawn Smith.

WOW, is this guy energetic, entertaining, and totally genuine.  Didn't have nearly as many kids as we'd hoped--and we did a TON of promoting for several weeks in advance to literally dozens of churches. I'm going with the idea that there were too many conflicting events, 'cause the only other reason the event wasn't filled to overflowing would be apathy, and that would break my heart.  ANYWAY, for those who came, it was a fabulous day, loaded with music and inspiration and food.  We also did a highway & park cleanup, so Lewisburg benefited, too! Tonight at 7 was Shawn's FREE concert, which was amazing. Great music from an inspiring musical missionary. Ciel and I (& Amy & Grace & Megan & Linda & Bill & Julie & Joseph & . . .) want to join Shawn and his wife on a mission trip to Guatemala.  We could probably convince Paul & Bill K to join us, who knows?! Stranger things have happened!
If you're anywhere Lewisburg tomorrow--Sunday, May 6th--come to one of our services and check it out.  Shawn's playing at all three (8am, 10:30am, and 7pm Radiate contemporary service). Shawn along with Faith Fusion, our praise band;  a little "this little light of mine" with a bit of "Sanctuary," if you haven't been to church in a while, this is the time to come back.
Blessings!
